Aeroacoustic testing on a full aircraft model at high Reynolds numbers in the European Transonic Windtunnel

This paper presents an end-to-end approach for the assessment of pressurized and cryogenic wind tunnel measurements EMBRAER scaled full model close to real-world Reynolds numbers. The choice microphones, measurement parameters, design array, selection flow parameters are discussed. Different conditions proposed which allow separating influence number from Mach number, as well slotted closed test sections. provides three-dimensional beamforming results with CLEAN-SC deconvolution, regions interest, corresponding source spectra. suggest that sections have little on compared has a profound, non-linear impact aeroacoustic emission lessens increasing number. Further, sources show dependency at constant but self-similar in observed range. findings it is possible study phenomena small-scale models numbers, enable further investigations future such directivity sources.
